Open Science in Practice 2019
The course “Open Science in Practice” will start on Monday, 2 September and end on Friday, 6 September. It will cover general and historical aspects of the open science movements, useful tools and best practices in open access. Organized by doctoral students, from the Eurotech Summer School, it will take place in the École Polytechnique Fédérale (EPF), Lausanne, Switzerland. The PUBMET 2019 conference will be held in Zadar, Croatia, on 18-20 September. It will present innovative approaches, best practice discussions and take on future challenges. On the pre-conference day, 18 September 2019, several workshops will offer the opportunity for participants to acquire additional knowledge on Creative Commons licences, Plan S initiative, new publishing models and academic writing. Open Education Policy Forum 2019
The Open Education Policy Forum 2019 will be part of a six-month policy incubation process. The Forum will be initiated by a two-day in-person workshop in Warsaw, Poland, on 7-8 October 2019, and it will end with the Open Education Week 2020, in March 2020.
